Clack Mountain Music Festival and A Day in the Country

First Saturday the Clack Mountain Music Festival and A Day in the Country is held on First Street in downtown Morehead and the Morehead Conference Center. There will be a wide variety of music, arts and craft vendors and “A Day in the Country” Folk Art Show held in the Morehead Conference Center.

Annual Cave Run Storytelling Festival

Held on the beautiful lake at the Twin Knobs beach area during the last full weekend of September. Nationally known storytellers.

Annual Morehead State University Homecoming

The Annual Morehead State University Homecoming parade kicks off Homecoming weekend on the 3rd Thursday.

Hometown Holiday

Hometown Holiday is held the first Saturday in December in downtown Morehead. Local church choirs, live nativity, Santa Claus and shopping.
