Dear Parents:
On behalf of our University faculty and staff, I welcome you and your student to our campus community.
The word “community” is a fundamental value of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Alumni who return to campus speak fondly of their sense of belonging to a family here, in spite of the University’s large enrollment. That supportive environment will sustain your student through the challenging but transforming experience of earning a college degree.
