IUPUI, in compliance with the Family Educational Right and Privacy Act, provides that, with the exception of directory information, all student records are confidential and available only to the student. FERPA affords students certain privacy rights with respect to their education records. In order to give another person access to their records, the student must select them as a “Designated Third Party”.
