Learning on Campus and Beyond
Students who work hard and do well may be recognized in many ways, from honor societies and the Dean’s list to special awards and participation in the Honors Program.
The goal of the Honors Program at Vincennes University is to create a learning community for qualified students with diverse majors who accept the challenge of Honors courses to fulfill their general education requirements.
Prospective Students accepted into this program will be enrolled in an Honors course each semester for four semesters. A capstone project, an independent study course in the fourth semester, allows students to pursue a research topic with a faculty mentor, beyond the scope of the courses generally required for graduation.
Honors Program students have special advantages including additional Honors advising, travel opportunities, scholarship opportunities and international study options.
