Sign up to receive the UI-Parents E-Update, a biweekly compilation of events, activities, dates and more. You will also receive our periodic newsletter, Dads & Moms Illini. Visit Parent Programs and click the Get Connected button.

Visit our Parent Programs web site often for information on student health, well-being and development. Look through the Feature Articles, the archives and past issues of the Dads & Moms Illini newsletters, find information about the Champaign-Urbana community, travel information and more!

The Discussion Board is a great place to share ideas, ask questions and post concerns. Parents who serve on the Boards of Directors answer your questions and share their experience from a parent’s perspective, and administrators from across campus offer their insight and years of experience and wisdom.

Contact the Parent Programs Office or (217) 333-7063 with questions, comments or ideas. Do you have a special talent or skill that might be useful to the work of the Associations? Maybe it’s a second language or artistic talent.  We are looking for creative, innovative ways to work with Illini families, and you just might have the key!

County Representatives are a critical part of our success. County Reps are the bridge between the University and local communities that make the collegiate experience more manageable and personable. Learn more at Information on County Network

Video workshops and a Career Services/Parent Programs webcast are available at Video Workshops.
Parent volunteers are also a key element of the Summer Registration program, offering their insight and experience as parents of college students. It’s a fun way to meet new people and welcome new Illinois families to campus, while also offering comfort and advice to nervous first-year parents and families. If you’re interested in helping out, email us.
