Union College Athletics
Union’s comprehensive athletics program develops well-rounded students who achieve excellence in the classroom, in the community and on the playing fields. With 25 varsity intercollegiate athletic programs, Union competes with colleges and universities of comparable size and compatible academic philosophy.
Twenty-three teams compete within NCAA Division III, while men’s and women’s ice hockey are Division I programs. Union had 173 Conference All-Academic Student-Athletes, 56 Conference All-Stars and a football finalist for the Gagliardi Award (D-III Heisman) in 2009-10. Other highlights: ECAC D-III Softball Champions, ECAC Hockey D-I Men’s Championship finalist and Liberty League Softball Championship.
