If your child is a college freshman, the simple answer is yes, you should go to Parents Weekend for a number of reasons:

* You'll get to see each other! You miss him and he misses you. For most families, this is your first major separation. Moms just need to see their son's face; Dads just need a smile from their little girl. It feels good to be together.
