Federal Tax Credit Information - Hope Scholarship/Lifetime Learning Credit

Can you believe that it is almost time to start thinking about filing your 2009 tax return? CSU, Chico furnishes a Form 1098T to students who had qualified tuition and related charges in a calendar year.

If you are still receiving your Form 1098T (qualified fees and tuition tax form) by mail, did you know that your student has the option to consent to receive this form electronically?

Online delivery provides 24/7 access to this form through the student portal. You can view and print as many times as you want. Online delivery eliminates the chance the form will get lost, misdirected or delayed during delivery, or misplaced once it is received. Online delivery allows for earlier access to this form, as it is available online before a paper copy is placed in the mail. Online delivery is the "green way" to receive this form and support campus sustainability efforts.

Ask your student to log onto their portal account, enter the Student Center and, under the Finances area, select the 1098T Print Option:

Then Click on the radio button for I consent:

Ask your student to take an extra minute when they are on their student center registering for spring 2010 classes and consent to receive this form electronically. Receive your information faster and help CSU Chico protect our environment and save trees.
