UC Programs Help Students, Families Afford College
UC Irvine's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to assisting admitted students attend UCI regardless of their economic circumstances.
Each year, the campus assists more than 15,000 students - or about 6 out of every 10 undergraduates - with scholarships, grants, loans, and/or part-time employment opportunities. We also assist graduate students with federal student loans.
These resources, totaling over $400 million annually, help make UCI's extraordinary learning facilities affordable to all California students.

- To receive student financial aid, you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every school year. See Financial Aid and Scholarships for instructions on applying for aid.
- Maximize your aid eligibility by completing the FAFSA before the March 2 deadline.

Blue and Gold
The Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan is a UC financial aid program intended to expand access to the university for lower-income students by establishing a minimum level of grant aid for undergraduates with financial need and household incomes of less than $70,000 ($60,000 in 2009/10).
