Dominican University Parent Guide
A Reminder about Submitting Immunization Records
The state of Illinois requires each student taking 6 or more hours on any Dominican campus to document their immunization records. Required vaccinations include 2 measles (after the first birthday), a mumps, a rubella and a tetanus booster within the past 10 years.
This can be confusing to students, so help them find and submit their records if they have not already.
Soon students who are not fully compliant will be getting warning emails on their dom.edu account. (Dominican students are expected to check it daily.) These warning emails will give students a brief period to come into compliance after which a $50 fine is placed on their accounts.
The Wellness Center is available to help students with this process. They should call or email us with their questions: 708 524-6229 or wellness@dom.edu.
