WOU Peer Mentor Program
Mission statement
The WOU Peer Mentor program is designed to provide students with peers that act as positive role models in promoting healthy lifestyles, assist in the transition to college, and provide services to peers and the community.
What do Peer Mentors do?
Peer Mentors are volunteer students that have at least one year experience of being a student here at wou. Each month they complete at least one educational program for students, can be for resident halls and / or all campus.
Mentors also have room hours in the evenings to be available, as well as some have office hours in the SHCC, throughout the week during the day. Mentors also provide community service, both here on campus, as well as out in the community.
