Babson College Parent Guide
Staying Connected to Babson College
There are a variety of programs that keep parents connected to Babson long after Orientation ends.
Each fall, the College hosts Family and Friends Weekend, a three-day event full of on- and off-campus social activities, athletic events, and student performances. You can stay up to date on each year’s Family and Friends Weekend schedule.
In partnership with the College’s Alumni and Friends network, regional and on-campus events are also held throughout the year. Parents and families are welcome at many of the Alumni Events. The Undergraduate Dean’s Office will keep you informed of these event offerings as well as campus news via the monthly Family Connection e-newsletter.
Babson is fortunate to have a strong tradition of support and involvement from parents who give generously of their time, financial resources, and expertise. The Babson Parents Executive Committee consists of current and past parents who are committed to advancing the mission of Babson College by providing philanthropic support to the College, serving as ambassadors for Babson in their communities, and strengthening the ties between Babson and the parent community.
The Parent Executive Committee works in collaboration with the Advancement Division to help keep you connected with and aware of the many ways you can be engaged in the Babson community. The Advancement Division strives to match your interests and expertise with Babson’s needs in order to ensure the College’s success, and the success of our students.
Also Babson parents are wonderful resources to the College in general and get involved in many other ways such as helping with The Fund for Babson and participating in the phonathon program, mentoring current students and alumni, volunteering through the CLTP (Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program), hosting events and programs for new students in different parts of the country and the world, and much more!
If you would like to get involved please contact Paula Prifti Weafer, Director of Parent Giving and Programs by email or (781) 239-6330.
