As a Junior I can look back and see that my relationship with my parents has changed greatly. When entering college my mother and father constantly checked up on me to make sure I was getting involved and making sure I was staying on task. At times I found this quite frustrating but things have gotten a lot better over the last few years. I can honestly say now that my parents are my biggest support system. They have finally realized that I can be successful on my own and are proud of that! This makes coming home even more exciting knowing that my mother proudly shows off my accomplishments when talking to friends and my dad can drink his morning coffee out of the #1 Missouri State Dad mug with pride. I guess through the last several years my family and I have changed together and for the better and I would not be the successful adult I am now without them!
