Planning and preparing for a career and figuring out what a student wants to do post academia is partially what college is all about. You can help your student prepare for this important transition by encouraging them to meet with career services early on and being a supportive resource.
Career Services can help students develop their resumes, provide guidance on special programs to attend to help them in their chosen career field, participate in mock-interviews, keep a pulse on available jobs in the market, and much more.
