University Parent Media Named Among Top 100 Women-owned Colorado Businesses

Boulder, COLO. (April 8, 2011) – ColoradoBiz Magazine will name University Parent Media one of the top 100 women-owned businesses in Colorado in the upcoming May issue.

Sarah Schupp, University Parent Media CEO, launched the company after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004. Since then, University Parent Media has grown to reach hundreds of campuses nationwide with guides that provide comprehensive information for parents of university students.

“The idea of producing a University Parent Guide began as my senior project through my Business Entrepreneurship Program,” Schupp said. “We’ve experienced incredible growth and have plans to reach even more parents and universities.”

The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and ColoradoBiz Magazine will host a private reception for awardees on April 28.
