2012 - Nine Lives: Death and Life in New Orleans by Dan Baum
Each year we ask the entering class to read a literary work to frame their first year experience; we call it the Tulane Reading Project. Free copies of the book will be distributed to all students at the orientation sessions, or mailed to students who cannot attend. Several events, speakers, and a visit with the author will be scheduled for this fall and students will discuss this book in their courses.
