Parents and Families...
We understand that parents and family play an active and important role in helping new students adjust to campus life. We also understand that family members may need help in adjusting too. Our new student orientation program is designed to help make that transition as easy as possible.
Now that you have finally arrived at orientation you will find a committed staff of professionals, undergraduate students, and volunteers that will be available to answer you and your student's questions about their plan of study, financial aid, registration, housing and any other critical questions either of you may have. The primary objective of orientation is to provide opportunities for your student to become familiar with their new surroundings and the resources they will have available to them, while encouraging them to meet new friends and have fun!
So enjoy and explore in these next few days!
I join many others in welcoming you to the Hornet Nation! "It's a GREAT time to be a Hornet!!!"
