The Crimson Tide will kick off their 2010 season on September 4th against San Jose State. Coming off their 13th National Championship, the Tide will play in the newly expanded Bryant-Denny Stadium. With more fans than ever expected to be in town, be sure you and your student know the ins and outs of UA game-day procedures.

If your student purchased football tickets, encourage your student to review the My Football Tickets feature through their MyBama account. Knowing the rules will avoid unnecessary penalties or problems. Information can be found on the action card website. Also, encourage your student to read the Get in the Game flyers distributed around campus. The flyer highlights valuable information about tickets, entering the stadium and what you cannot bring into the game. For example, bags larger than an 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper are not permitted. The flyer can also be found on the Parent Programs website.

For parents and guest visiting the Capstone be sure to check out the website, www.uagameday.com. The site was specifically developed for UA and provides maps, traffic flow guides, RV info and any changes from last year's procedures due to the stadium expansion. We hope you will join us for the Tide's season opener and Family Weekend! For additional information about Family Weekend, visit www.familyweekend.ua.edu.
