Student Health Services (SHS) provides walk-in health care for sick or injured full-time undergraduates enrolled at Assumption College. Our dedicated staff provides skilled clinical services and comprehensive health promotion programs.
Our goal is to have your child leave SHS not only feeling better, but better informed. We empower our students to become knowledgeable health care consumers and assist them in making positive lifestyle choices. We are dedicated to respecting and protecting patient rights and interests.
Massachusetts requires that students attending colleges in the state carry health insurance. Students may have coverage through their family’s plan, their employment or other source. Students who need to purchase health insurance have the option to purchase a reasonably priced plan offered through the college. The Finance Office administers this option.
