Q: What are the parking options?

A:  Parking will be very limited during Family Weekend, as it always is on campus and in Boulder. We recommend using public transportation whenever possible. Please note that campus parking options are different Friday and Saturday.

Friday, September 30 –

As part of your Family Weekend registration, we have arranged parking for you on the “Business Field” next to the Leeds School of Business (off of Regent Drive). This parking option is free for Family Weekend registrants. You will receive a parking pass via e-mail if you indicated on your registration that you would be driving. Print this parking pass and make sure to bring it with you on Friday, September 30. If you did not receive your parking pass electronically, please call Conference Services at (303) 482-5151 or email and they will send you one. You must move your car from the “Business Field” no later than 6:00 p.m. to accommodate other activities. Cars left on the field after 6:00 p.m. will be towed.

In the event of inclement weather, the “Business Field” cannot be used for parking. Instead, you will be directed to other available free parking located near the “Business Field”.

Please note that you will need to walk about 1/4 of a mile from the Friday parking area to Family Weekend headquarters located in the University Memorial Center.  Please wear comfortable shoes.  If a physical condition does not allow a member of your party to walk this distance, we ask that you please check the box that says “Do you need disability aid/accommodation” when registering for Family Weekend.

If you have already registered and would like to add this designation to your registration, please call Conference Services at (303) 492-5151. After receiving this request through the registration process, you will receive a call about two weeks prior to Family Weekend to determine   how we may accommodate disabilities   during your Family Weekend visit.

Saturday, October 1 –

Football game day parking plans will be in effect on campus.  We recommend that you park in one of the lots designated for public parking. Regent Auto Park may be used for handicapped only. Football parking on campus costs $20. After paying, the parking attendant will give you a ticket that will allow you to park so you can attend Family Weekend events (like the brunch), leave to visit your hotel or other attractions in the area, and then return to park for the game. (Note: Parking lots do fill up for football games. Consequently, we cannot guarantee that if you decide to leave campus and return closer to game time that parking will be available.).

Q: Are there special parking arrangements for people with disabilities?

A: Parking for persons with disabilities is available in the Euclid AutoPark garage just east of the UMC. On game days a shuttle runs between the garage and the stadium for people unable to walk to the stadium. For more information, visit the Parking and Transportation Services web site.
