CU Family Weekend FAQs- Registration

Q: I will arrive in Boulder late Friday evening. Can my student pick up our registration materials?

A: Yes, students can pick up Family Weekend materials at the registration site located in the University Memorial Center on Thursday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m., and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The registration site will also be open on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 30 minutes prior to game time or 2:00 p.m., whichever is earlier. Students must show their CU Student ID card to pick up registration materials.

Q: Should I buy tickets for my CU student to attend Family Weekend activities?

A: Yes, we encourage you to attend events with your student. All paid events require tickets for each person attending, including the CU student. Students are not admitted to the events without a ticket. Remember, students have classes on Friday.

Q: Will our tickets be mailed to us?

A: No. Tickets for Family Weekend events, including the football game, must be picked up at the University Memorial Center (Room 235) on Thursday between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m., on Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or on Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 30 minutes prior to game time or 2:00 p.m., whichever is earlier.

Q: Should I register for the Welcome Luncheon if I am registered for the Golf Tournament?

A: No, if you are registering for the Golf Tournament, you should not register for the Welcome Luncheon. You are not going to make it back in time for the luncheon. Golf has a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.  
and includes a lunch buffet at the Colorado National Golf Club ($105.00 per person for the golf tournament, breakfast and lunch)

Q: Is seating limited for Friday’s Welcome Luncheon and Saturday’s Pre-Game Brunch?

A: Yes, the number of spaces is limited for the Welcome Luncheon and the Pre-Game Brunch.

Q: How do I register for the Boulder Bus Tour?

A: You need to make a reservation for the Boulder Bus Tour with the Boulder Convention and Visitor Bureau. E-mail Adrienne Pequeen or call (800) 444-0447 to reserve your spot. The tour is free; however, you will be charged an $8 cancellation fee if you made a reservation but do not show up. Please cancel at least 3 days in advance. Have your credit card number available at time of reservation.
