The Office of first-year and sophomore studies and advising was created in an effort to strengthen the current faculty-based academic advising system by making available to students a supplementary professional advisor. The director assists and serves as a resource for students, faculty, staff and others at Colorado College who are part of the advising system. In addition, the director coordinates the First-year Experience program and a series of programs designed to support second-year students.
