Buell Communications Center (KTSC-TV):  Home of the Visitor and Transfer Center, where you can take a tour of CSU-Pueblo, meet other students and faculty, and learn more about our programs and services. The Buell is home to the Department of Mass Communications and Center for New Media, Rev 89 FM and the Today, the student-produced campus newspaper. It is also a real, working public television station. In fact, we are the only campus in Colorado to have an actual PBS station. Here, mass communications students can get excellent hands-on experience in writing, directing, editing, and producing television programs!

Technology Building: Stroll through the halls of the Technology Building and you will find venerable programs like nursing, engineering, and automotive industry management. All of these programs offer exceptional hands-on experience for their students to prepare themselves for successful careers. Log on to one of over 300 computers located in this building.

Hasan School of Business:  HSB always has its doors open to students interested in majors like accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Learn and study in a variety of group meeting rooms and classrooms with wireless internet access, in addition to the Hasan Auditorium. We take pride in the fact that our business school is one of fewer than 15% of business schools with a prestigious AACSB accreditation.

McKinney Pavilion: Forgot to grab breakfast on your way out the door this morning? No problem! Just stop by the Pavilion and pick up a breakfast burrito to get you through the morning. Then, come back for lunch and relax at a table that offers a great view of campus to admire while you munch on pizza or other snack items.

Psychology Building: Home to the social sciences and humanities, the Psychology Building houses majors like English, sociology, and psychology. The building boasts two psychology labs for hands-on research and a foreign language lab. Student Academic Services is here to help you with disability questions, general education tutoring and a counseling center. The supportive Writing Room is headquartered here to assist you with your writing projects!

University Plaza:  Unwind to the peaceful sound of gushing water at the University Fountain Plaza. Admire the bronze casting on the fountain and breathe in the sweet smell of the colorful flowers that surround the plaza during the temperate seasons. Grab your lunch or your favorite textbook and relax in this peaceful atmosphere.

Administration Building: This is your one-stop shop to take care of any official campus business you may have! Want to change your major? Swing by the Office of Admissions and Records. Need to check your financial aid award status? Student Financial Services is happy to help. Locked your keys in your car? The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is to the rescue. These are only a few of the many services housed in the Administration Building!

Student Recreation Center: The Student Recreation Center gives students access to basketball courts, a weight room, an indoor running track, fitness classes, and more. Membership is paid for through mandatory student fees each semester.

Health, PE, and Recreational Building (Massari Arena, Sam Jones Sports Complex and Levert W. Hoag Recreation Center): Massari opened its doors in February 2008 after an extensive renovation. It is brimming with a world-class indoor sports arena, a swimming pool, basketball and racquetball courts, an athletic training room, and much more! Come check out the challenging climbing wall and see if you can reach the top!

Physical Plant (view as you’re walking by):  This building serves as the nerve center for the Facilities Department offices, including building trades, grounds, and warehouse functions that keep the campus in operation. CSU-Pueblo’s U.S. Post Office Station also is housed here.

Occhiato University Center
: The OUC is bursting at the seams with a tremendous array of student services, including the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore, the Career Center, the offices of the student government and other clubs, two dining facilities, and a stunning ballroom for special events. The University Library is temporarily housed here until renovations are complete.  In the OUC, something exciting is always happening and YOU can be right in the middle of it!

Belmont Residence Hall:  BRH is home for many CSU-Pueblo students. Students enjoy such amenities as a 24-hour computer lab, laundry facilities, a fitness room, and round-the-clock staff and security. Every room is a comfortably furnished retreat complete with cable TV and internet service. Life is good in Belmont Hall!

University Child Care Center: Your children will flourish at the distinguished CSU-Pueblo Child Care Center. Nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Child Care Center offers reduced fees to CSU-Pueblo students with children aged 12 months to five years. Your children will love their experience on the campus of Southern Colorado’s flagship institution.

Water Towers (view as you walk by):  These towers are owned by the Pueblo Board of Waterworks municipal domestic water provider for the City of Pueblo and serve the CSU-Pueblo campus as well as the a portion of Pueblo. The towers are a CSU-Pueblo landmark with the University logo and the wolf visible by air and throughout the surrounding area.

Student Recreation Field:  Unwind from a long day of studying at the student recreation field. This 48,000 square foot facility is a wonderful place to throw a football, toss a Frisbee, or kick a soccer ball. In the mood for some competition? Join one of the many intramural and club sports that use the field for practice and games at www.colostate-pueblo.edu/sr.

Crestone, Culebra and Greenhorn Residence Halls:  Crestone Hall opened in Fall 2009, followed by Culebra and Greenhorn in Fall 2010.  Each of the three new buildings in the village features flexible suite-style room configurations, meeting and lounge areas, ample parking, and great views! Greenhorn Hall is home to the Bistro, which is another on-campus dining option.

University Village at Walking Stick Apartments: Soak up the sweeping panoramic view of the majestic Colorado mountain ranges as you come home to the University Village at Walking Stick Apartments. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Pueblo as well as the serene atmosphere of Walking Stick golf course. The CSU-Pueblo campus is just a few steps away from your front door!

Capps Capozzolo Academic Center for the Arts (Art/Music Building): Unearth your artistic and musical talents in the classrooms of the Art/Music Building.  Here, you can also snatch up a ticket to one of the concerts or performances held in the breathtaking Hoag Recital Hall.

Disc Golf Course: Keep your eye out for rabbits and cactus on this 18-hole disc golf course, which winds through mostly flat and lightly wooded terrain on CSU-Pueblo campus. Hazards include several large trees around holes 4-7, a small stream running through part of the course, and even students walking to class!

New Academic Resource Center (opening by Fall 2011) formerly the University Library: The $24 million renovation of the University Library will dramatically transform it into a 21st century library and academic support center. In addition to state-of-the-art technology and traditional print resources, students also have access to a variety of support programs, beginning with their first day on campus through graduation.

Hasan Outdoor Amphitheater: Bring a friend and settle in to watch a movie beneath the expanse of the unparalleled Colorado sky at the Outdoor Amphitheater. The films are projected onto the side of the nearby Art and Music Building! On the 4th of July, come enjoy a spectacular concert followed by a glittering fireworks display. The amphitheater offers an extensive view of the Colorado mountain ranges.

Chemistry Building: Reserve your spot in classes like Introduction to Forensic Science or Environmental Chemistry and find yourself in the prominent halls of the Chemistry Building. As a student in this building, you will have the awesome opportunity to use modern instrumentation and innovative technology to explore the wonders of the chemical world!

Life Sciences Building
: Discover the wonder of the life sciences in this gorgeous and newly renovated building. Stocked with science labs, a year-round botany lab, the largest lecture hall on campus, and a real gross anatomy cadaver, this building is a place where you really can get a grip on life.

Physics/Mathematics Building: Investigate the theory of relativity, electromagnetism, differential equations and more in the classrooms of the beautifully renovated Physics and Math Building. Swing by the Math Learning Center for free tutoring or to reserve your spot in the Math Department’s annual talent show. Your experiences here will add up to equal a world-class education!

This completes the walking portion of the tour.  It is suggested that you drive to the stadium/sports complex portion of campus.

Soccer Field:  Home to the CSU-Pueblo men’s and women’s soccer teams.  Maybe you’ll catch the Thunderwolves in action.

Ropes Course: Come build your leadership, teamwork, and communication skills at the inspiring and challenging CSU-Pueblo Ropes course. In a controlled environment, learn about how individual contributions can benefit a team and how these newfound skills can be applied to your own life. Take the challenge and discover all kinds of new things about yourself and your teammates!

Thunderbowl Stadium: The Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium is a world-class facility that is without equal in NCAA Division II football. Featuring 7,000 spectator seats, a nine lane all-weather track, a field house, and more, the Thunderbowl Stadium is something the CSU-Pueblo community is truly proud to have.  Thunderwolf football returned to CSU-Pueblo is Fall 2008 and women’s track and field in Spring 2009!

Rawlings Outdoor Sports Complex: The Rawlings Outdoor Sports Complex is a first-class facility that is home to CSU-Pueblo baseball and softball. Bring your friends or family and cheer on the Thunderwolves!
