What is the CSU Health Network?
The CSU Health Network is a student support service, providing a full range of medical, mental health and health education and prevention services and programming to optimize the health of students and the campus community. The CSU Health Network is fully accredited by the Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and designed to serve as the health home for CSU students.
What does the CSU Health Network offer?
Medical Services:
- Main clinics (medical, dental, women's, men's, children’s, physical therapy and psychiatry)
- Specialty clinics (dermatology, immunization, travel medicine, optometry, allergy/asthma, orthopedic and sports medicine)
- Other services (pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray, behavioral health, nutrition consultation
- Counseling Services:
- Individual and couple
- Group services
- Drugs, Alcohol and You (DAY Programs)
- Emergency services
- Consultation – colleagues/parents/friends
- Learning Assistance Program (assessment for learning disabilities)
- Health Education and Prevention Services:
- Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs prevention programming
- *New Online Program Required for Incoming Students - Alcohol Edu/Sexual Assault Edu
- Mental health initiatives (stress, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention)
- Nutrition and physical activity initiatives
- Sexual health
- Outreach programs, including use of peer mentors
What Does the Health Fee Cover?
All students with six or more academic credits pay the health fee and may use the CSU Health Network. Students taking less than six credits, and spouses, partners, and children of students, may choose to pay the health fee or pay fees for service to access medical services.
What is the difference between the Student Fee and Student Health Insurance?
CSU Health Network is supported by student fees and allows student access to the services and facilities on campus. Students do not need to sign up for the Student Health Insurance Plan to use CSU Health Network Services.
What Immunizations does CSU require?
The State of Colorado requires all universities with on-campus housing to have each student provide proof of two Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) shots. The first one must have been given on or after their first birthday.
