New Freshmen and Transfer Students Enrolling in Fall 2008!
Mark your calendars for Getting Connected scheduled for Thursday, August 21 – Sunday, August 24, 2008. We are currently busy planning Getting Connected activities.
Getting Connected is a celebration of your presence as a new member of this community. So, mark your calendars and prepare to embark on your Chico experience! Our theme, Getting Connected, is our way of suggesting the importance of making useful and early connections in our community. It is our desire that you connect with the many resources that are available to you:
- Faculty and staff in your major department
- Student leaders
- Clubs and organizations
- The Chico community
- University administrators
- And each other!
Plan to connect with us this August and learn what you need in order to achieve your goals and have an excellent experience as a new member of this community.
Your participation in Summer Orientation or a Mini-Orientation is not a substitute for your participation in the mandatory Wildcat Welcome & Convocation on August 22, 2008.
Official E-mail Communication
California State University, Chico considers e-mail to be the essential method for communicating official University business with students.
Each student is provided with a campus WildcatMail account. Review the contents of your WildcatMail account on a frequent and regular basis. Official notifications from the University related to enrollment, academic status, fees, holds, and financial aid will only be sent to your WildcatMail account. If you do not want to examine your WildcatMail account on a regular basis, you can adjust that account to forward messages to another frequently checked e-mail address.
