Saturday, April 9, 2011 was Admitted Students Preview Day for the Chico State campus. More than 2,700 prospective students with their family members came to visit.

Of Chico's 13 intercollegiate athletic teams, it looks like 8 will see postseason play. During the fall, men's soccer, men's cross country, and women's cross country all made it into the postseason. Men's and women's cross country both ended the year ranked fifth in the NCAA Division II standings.
