Chico State is committed to providing a safe environment for students and the surrounding community. Latest on-campus statistics from 2009 have shown that burglary went down more than 50 percent from 2008. Despite this improvement in safety, burglary and motor vehicle theft still occur, and students need to be aware of the precautions to take to avoid being victimized.
