Chico State will hold Family Weekend October 8-11, 2009. This event will celebrate the role families play in the lives of our students.

The main event for the weekend is the Family Barbecue held on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on the Kendall Lawn. Barbecue tickets are $12 each and can be purchased in person at the University Box Office, over the phone, 530-898-6333, by fax, 530-898-5261, or online. The barbecue order form is available here. Menu for the barbecue includes barbecue chicken or veggie burgers, pasta salad, baked beans, fruit salad, chocolate chip cookies, and soft drinks. Students are required to have a ticket for lunch. This event is open to everyone, so please feel free to bring the whole family! Tickets must be purchased in advance by October 1, 2009.

The CSU, Chico Scholarship Application for the 2010-2011 academic year is available online from October 1, 2009 through December 15, 2009.

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled at CSU, Chico or must be regularly eligible for admission. New applicants to the University must have an admission application on file.  All scholarships require the student to maintain full-time enrollment (12 units for undergraduates and credential; 8 units for graduate students), and a minimum 2.00 GPA. Some scholarships require a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
