Explore major department’s webpage for special learning opportunities    
Visit the major department’s Blackboard organization site    
Start compiling questions for first advising appointment Meet advisor Schedule an appointment before Winter scheduling begins
Check the CPP email account regularly for course updates    
Academic Planning & Performance    
Use the roadmap to start thinking about a personal academic plan Review all course syllabi  
Get a planner/calendar to stay organized Put class deadlines in planner/calendar  
Bookmark Registrar’s website for deadlines, forms, and regulations Do not miss the first day of ANY class  
Print out course schedule from BroncoDirect Be on time for class Don’t miss class
Plan time schedule out for adequate study time - 2:1 ratio, 12 units = 12 hours in class + 24 hours of study time Make friends in class & look for study buddies  
Purchase books before school starts
