Dominican University becomes a magical place to spend a special holiday moment. Please consider joining us for one of the following events this holiday season.
Performing Arts Center Presents Free to Be ... You and Me
Dominican University Performing Arts Center will present Free to Be ... You and Me, a children's theatre production conceived by Marlo Thomas, during the weekend of Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6 in the Martin Recital Hall.
This imaginative blend of music and humor expands children's personal horizons, enabling them to invent their own futures without limitations, while dispelling some old constraints and worn-out conventions in the process. Parents, teachers and other grown-up friends will delight in sharing this extraordinary and memorable experience with children in their lives.
Performances will be Friday night at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $10. You'll have a toe tappin' good time when one of the hottest, hippest, coolest bands around brings their retro hep-cat cool infused with a dose of Yule spirit to DUPAC. Swing into the holiday season with their electrifying performance of yuletide classics, original hits and Big Band Swing music. It's "Blue Christmas," "Jingle Bells" and "We Three Kings" as you've never heard them before!
