Parents should urge students to get vaccinated against the H1N1 flu and the seasonal flu. Flu season will likely extend through spring, as it did last year.

H1N1 vaccinations are available at the Wellness Center. The vaccinations are free for all students, staff and faculty.  Please call us at 708.524.6229 for an appointment. We urge students to take advantage of this vaccination to avoid flu during the worst of flu season - January-March.

We have a limited number of seasonal flu shots at $10 - however these are also widely available at health departments and local clinics, including Walgreens and CVS.

The Wellness Center is available to all students and offers both counseling and healthcare services to students . The Center features a new Wellness Room designated for stress management and overall relaxation for students. The Wellness Room, which is equipped with an amazing massage recliner and excellent headphones (bring your iPod/mp3 player if you wish), is a great place to retreat between classes. Students must call 708.524.6229 to reserve the Wellness Room.
