Helping Your Child with Second Semester Goals

Posted in

With the semester beginning, the opportunity to continue on recent academic success has arrived for our students.  For those who need to reestablish themselves in the classroom, this is an ideal time to connect with their academic advisors and/or faculty and find out what factors contributed to their not achieving their goals in the fall in order to reset their paths in the right direction.  Academic Advisors are available to all undergraduate students if they need advising on their course load or if they need to add or drop a course.

In the classroom, students can look through their syllabus and plan accordingly for their upcoming assignment and exam dates.  They can also meet with their faculty member in order to establish a good communication, an understanding of the class, and how it applies to their major.  For those students who have not declared their major, they can attend the "Majors Expo", which is an event that allows students to inquire on all the majors that Rosary College of Arts and Sciences offers.  Students can declare their major onsite or get the paperwork to fill out later.  The Majors Expo is February 23 at 1:00pm in the Social Hall.

We look forward to working with all students in hopes of bringing them academic success in 2010!
