Dominican University Parent Guide
Helping You Child Understand Finances and Money
When you sent your son or daughter off to college, you probably told them to "study hard, have fun and be careful!" What you might not have told them is "make sure you maintain good credit and protect yourself from identity theft!" And even if you did, there's a good chance that message needs to be reinforced.
In order to help students understand how the choices they make about money while attending Dominican can have a direct impact on their future financial success, we will be offering a program called, "Ultimate Money Skills: College" on Wednesday, March 3 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in Lewis Lounge. This live, interactive presentation focuses on developing smart money management skills in college by providing students with insight on:
- The appropriate use of credit
- The basics of banking
- Taking control of student loan debt
- Investing for their future
- Avoiding identity theft
You, as well as your son or daughter, are personally invited to attend this FREE presentation on Wednesday, March 3 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in Lewis Lounge. If you have any questions, please contact Career Development at 708-524-6786.
