Welcome to the year's first edition of DU Parent Connection. This e-newsletter is a great resource for you to receive updates on what's happening at Dominican University. The newsletter is just one part of our growing parent program.

We have continued to offer the Parent Guide for new student parents as a resource on campus offices, services and programs. If you are an existing student parent and would like a copy of the guide please let us know. An online version is available at www.dom.edu/parents.

This year we are excited to continue to have our traditional family events but also adding in some new ones. Join us for Fall Family Weekend October 1 - 3, our Family Holiday program on December 5 and a new Spring Family Weekend February 25- 27. We will also be continuing our Life 101 program for senior students and their parents- it is scheduled for January 29. More information on all of these events is available on the parent website at www.dom.edu/parents.

Throughout this year, we'll be asking your feedback on these offerings as well as other programs or services you would like. Please feel free to send any comments you have, or ideas that would help you feel more connected to DU, to our parent email: parents@dom.edu.
