You may have noticed the initials "O.P." following the names of our Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, whose congregation sponsors Dominican University. When St. Dominic founded the Dominican Order in 1216, it was initially named the Order of Preachers and members began to carry the letters "O.P." after their name.
