Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to request services through the Office of Services for Individuals with Disabilities, directed by Teresa Belluscio. Disabilities include learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, physical and mobility impairments, visual impairments or blindness, traumatic brain injuries and mental health diagnosis. Individuals can contact the Office of Services for Individuals with Disabilities at (859) 622-2933 to schedule an appointment or visit Student Services Building, Room 361. Individuals who are hearing impaired or deaf can contact the interpreter coordinator, Shirley Rivard, at (TTY) (859) 622- 2937 or visit Case Annex, Room 207. Services, including academic accommodations and program accessibility, are determined on an individual basis. It is the sole responsibility of the individual with the disability to provide the Disabilities Office with appropriate and recent documentation concerning a disability. Individuals with disabilities may obtain a Services Handbook and other related information through either office or may view services and procedures on the Disabilities Office websites. An accessibility map may be requested in person or by phone or may be viewed on the web page. You may email questions to www.disserv@eku.edu.
