When students come to a large university, it is very important to get involved in campus life. It is an essential component in becoming familiarized to a new life, new environment and, especially, new friends.
Eastern Kentucky University has more than 180 different student organizations on campus. These governance organizations are categorized into ten specific areas: departmental, religious, honorary, residence hall, service, sports, social fraternities, social sororities, and activity organizations.
If your student has a hobby or interest, EKU will most likely have an organization to meet his or her needs. If not, students can create their own organizations at Eastern! The Office of Student Life encourages all students to get involved in the great things going on at Eastern and in the Richmond community.
