23 miles of sandy, white beaches are open to pedestrians 24/7 with free access. Cars are permitted in designated areas of the beach from sunrise to sunset, tidal conditions permitting.
The area's many lakes and rivers, along with the ocean, offer an endless variety of recreational activities, such as freshwater and saltwater fishing, sport fishing tournaments, sailing, surfing, snorkeling, and swimming.
