What does the housing fee include?

All of our rooms are fully climate controlled and include all utilities, wireless high-speed internet access and cable television access. In addition, we provide each student with a bed and mattress (twin x-long mattress 36”x80”), closet space, dresser, desk, chair, and window coverings.  Each living unit has a mini refrigerator, full size refrigerator or a ¾ refrigerator to be shared with others in the living space. The housing fee also includes access to staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week and special programming developed just for the students living on campus.

What is an Eagle Card?

The Eagle Card serves as student identification, an access key to residence halls, labs and meal plans, a campus debit card and library card.  Eagle  and flight dollars (accessible only for flight activities) can be deposited up to one  month before orientation on student accounts at prescott.erau.edu/go/eagledeposit and following the link to “Make a guest deposit on your Eagle Card.” Student first and last name, and student ID number are required to make deposits.

Is the campus patrolled 24 hours?

Yes.  The Safety Department patrols and services the campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

What if I want information concerning my student’s records (grade reports, judicial actions) released?

FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) prevents any educational institution from releasing information without prior authorization from the student. Students who want information from their records released to parents or any other designee, must submit a signed Student Request to Share Information form to the Records Office or other Embry-Riddle staff member with a photo ID. If form is to be mailed or faxed, it must be notarized. This form may be obtained at the Records office.

Are cars allowed on campus?

Yes, students may choose to bring a car or motorcycle to campus and will be required to register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit from Campus Safety. Bicycles and skateboards are also popular choices for getting around, but are not allowed on the interior of campus for pedestrian safety on sidewalks.

How can I get more information in case of an emergency on campus?

In case of an emergency on campus, notifications can be obtained at (928) 777-3728. Information about weather emergencies and campus closures can be obtained through our weather hotline, (928) 777-6666.

How can I send “snail” mail to my student?

Every student, including those living off campus, has a mailbox to receive personal and University mail. It is the responsibility of each student to check his/her campus mailbox daily. Official correspondence from the University is considered delivered once it is placed in a student’s mailbox.
