Intramurals & Recreation at Embry-Riddle
Intramural and recreational sports are available on campus and create an atmosphere of competition and fun by offering a wide variety of activities. Team sports such as flag football, volleyball, basketball, softball, dodgeball, and indoor and outdoor soccer are offered as league play. Other sports such as sand volleyball, table tennis, racquetball, tennis, ultimate Frisbee and disk golf are offered as small tournament play. Other sports are also available on request.
The director assists sports clubs, chartered clubs, and organizations with the use of sports facilities and equipment. Students are encouraged to use all on-campus sports-related facilities (outdoor swimming pool, tennis and racquetball courts, gymnasium, and fitness center).
In addition to on-campus recreational activities, the Prescott area offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. Hiking, camping, fishing, sailing, and skiing are a few of the activities available in the surrounding area.
