What resources are used to protect the University?
FAU police officers and community service officers (CSO) patrol the campuses 24 hours a day.  We also have blue lights on campus, if a student feels threatened while walking to a particular destination, he/she can push the button and it’s directly linked to the FAU police station.

Moreover, we have Night Owls, a transportation service that students/FAU guests can call at night for a ride to any destination on campus.  Residence halls require an Owl Card for access, which restricts outsiders from entering at any time.

The University provides a safe and healthy environment for students, employees and visitors — find out more about emergency information at FAU. This information is also accessible at all times from the Emergency Information link at the bottom of every FAU web page.
