From professional sports teams an hour away to international shopping destinations, Boca Raton offers a sophisticated spin on the South Florida lifestyle.

For the good life, dining and shopping in Boca Raton is “entertainment”….from the cafes and shops in Town Center, Mizner Park and Royal Palm Place to the wealth of fine restaurants and a plethora of the finest stores dotting areas throughout the City. The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce provides a map and map guide to the multitude of businesses located in and around Boca Raton—shops, restaurants, health institutions & offices, educational facilities, libraries, movie theaters, places of worship. Going back to nature? Boca Raton’s parks and green spaces are among its most luxurious amenities.  Travel the scenic road that hugs the coastline, A1A…. it is very popular, especially on weekends, with joggers, cyclists, rollerbladers and strollers…all sharing this popular venue.  For the outdoor enthusiast, you’ll find a wealth of opportunities, whether it’s a round of oceanside golf, a game of tennis at superbly maintained facilities, a day at the 4-mile stretch of pristine beach, a bicycle ride along 5 miles of specially-maintained bike paths, or a picnic in one of our 41 daily-groomed parks.

Spend a day at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center with its unique Turtle Rehabilitation Center or at our newest park, Sugar Sand Park, where the child in you gives way to a ride on the carousel. Be sure to pick up a complimentary copy of The Recreator, a guide to all parks and recreation facilities and activities offered by the City of Boca Raton.

Looking for culture?  The arts fill Boca Raton in grand style throughout the entire year, from film festivals to art exhibits, from national performing artists to student performers, from holiday specialty events to day-to-day entertainment.  Look for a listing of free events offered by the City at its website, or check the Boca Raton Cultural Consortium website for a listing of events sponsored by its members  .
