OWL PARENT ASSOCIATION

The time has come to sign up for the Owl Parent Association (OPA). Prior memberships expire June 30, 2010. The OPA Parent Advisory Board has been working diligently to make the OPA worth it for you to sign up for another year. Some of the benefits of signing up are the great discounts and materials you get just because you are a member. Included are discounts for Parent and Family Weekend (you can sign up for it now at www.fau.edu/parents), Spring Fling Parents Weekend, Homecoming and a free reception on move in day. Also included are a magnet with all the important FAU phone numbers, a calendar of FAU events, discounts for car and hotel rentals, and a pen with a highlighter. The Parent Advisory Board is working on much more to offer just for joining. Don't forget that the OPA member's students are also eligible for book scholarships and Family of the Year. Fees this year are $40; however, you can join for more than a year at a discount. Joining for three years is $90 (a $30 savings!!!) and joining for two years is only $60!!
