The Office of International Programs (OIP) helps international students in many different ways. We provide assistance with immigration related issues, organize cultural activities, and promote cultural awareness on the campus through our annual International Festival (held in conjunction with the Study Abroad Office).
The OIP also sponsors Felician’s International Partners Program, in which newly arrived students are partnered up with more “seasoned” students to help them transition to Felician more easily. International students are also welcome to join our International Student Club, where they will meet new people, make friends and help promote their culture on campus.
Throughout the year the OIP offers activities sure to please everyone. Some examples are:
We also offer trips to other parts of the USA, such as Philadelphia, Boston and Washington DC.
Besides all 55 undergraduate majors and master’s programs, Felician College also offers an intensive English as a Second Language program. We offer conditional admission for students who need ESL instruction before they start their college classes. The program offers classes varying from basic to advanced levels, and a placement test is given to students on the first day of class to ensure they are placed in the correct level.
International students are also encouraged to participate in all campus activities including but not limited to: sports (we are members of NCAA division II), our student-run radio station and our unique UN Fellows Program.
The unique needs of all international students are the International office’s top priority because our overarching mission is to provide a solid, supportive experience that allows students to succeed and meet their highest potential.
