FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus hosted the Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27th and was sponsored by the Student Government Association and Multifaith Council.  Joe Sachs, a Holocaust Survivor and member of the Holocaust Memorial, spoke about his experiences living in the concentration camps.

Dan Rather Visits Biscayne Bay Campus

Award-winning journalist Dan Rather discussed "Journalism in Crisis" as part of the SGA Lecture Series at Biscayne Bay Campus on Tuesday, March 9th. About 300 FIU students, staff and community guests enjoyed his speech. Rather, with over 40 years of journalism experience ranging from CBS Evening News to 60 Minutes, spoke profoundly about his experiences about his 40 year career, mistakes he made along the way and advice and tips for future journalists.
