Fort Lewis College offers grants, loans, scholarships, and student employment for students who demonstrate need for financial assistance. With the help of the Financial Aid Office, every effort is made to help students identify and apply for all types of financial assistance for which funds are available and for which they qualify.
We are also committed to helping those students who don’t qualify for this limited need-based aid to find alternative resources.
The first step to apply for financial aid is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the United States Department of Education. Submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1st. Fort Lewis College awards financial aid on a first-come, most-in-need basis; therefore, it is important to meet the following suggested deadlines, if possible:
- February 15th for Fall and Winter semesters, and Summer sessions
- September 15th for Winter semester only.
