Commencement is a special time for a student and their family. Every year George Mason hosts GradFest, a month-long celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of Mason graduates. GradFest events are designed for seniors and graduate students and encourages them to look toward their future to becoming a successful Mason alumni.

GradFest began April 26 and extends until May 24th. Events include Mason Day, workshops designed to prepare soon-to-be graduates for the professional world, networking sessions with alumni and a graduation celebration.

GradFest activities are a collaboration between University Life and a university-wide committee of staff and students. In addition, the Alumni Association and Career Services coordinate several activities designed to send graduates off on the right path.

As the undergraduate educational career of some of our Mason students draws closer, we encourage students to take advantage of these fun and informative events to make the most of their graduation experience!
