IIT Student Life
The Office of Student Life promotes student learning and involvement beyond the classroom by offering programs and events that facilitate student growth on an intellectual, personal, and social level. Whether through joining a student organization, attending a program, or taking part in a service learning activity, the Office of Student Life encourages all IIT students to take part in life outside the academic environment.
Campus programs are offered to appeal to a wide variety of interests and personalities. The majority of events are produced by student organizations with support from Student Life. More information about traditional campus events can be found on the Events page of this guide.
Student organizations are an integral part of campus life at IIT. With over a hundred groups to choose from, there is guaranteed to be an organization for your student. If they do not find something that grabs their attention, that’s okay! The Office of Student Life will assist them in starting an organization to meets their needs and interests.
