New Summer Sessions for Summer 2011

The summer sessions offered by IIT will have a different format for the 2011 summer session.

• The summer term, comprised of four distinct sessions, will afford the most flexible course schedule options for students and faculty.
• An overarching 12-week session defining the full summer term is overlapped by two back-to-back 6-week sessions and one 8-week session centered on the term.
• Accelerated courses, workshops and student employment schedules are more easily accommodated by this new calendar.
• Registration for summer is planned as its own campus event on Monday, January 31, 2011, separate from registration for spring classes.
• Students will use their existing spring registration pin to register for summer.
