Welcome Parents!

Jackson State University recognizes that you are a very important partner in your student's success in college. The Parent and Family program at JSU, provided by the Division of Student Life, helps you stay connected to campus life and serves as your ongoing resource throughout your student(s) college career.

There is NO cost to membership and we encourage you to provide us with your email address and the information listed on our site @ www.jsums.edu/studentlife. With this simple step, you will receive a link to JSU and maintain a gateway to timely information about topics ranging from academics to health and safety, and from finances to career decisions. It is also a great source of information about what's happening on campus, allowing you to explore everything we have to offer when you visit your student.

You are committed to helping your student succeed, and so are we. I would encourage you to call upon the Parent Program staff when you have a question, or when you want to share a concern or a suggestion.
